Recommended: New Kevin Carson Paper

Kevin Carson’s new Center for a Stateless Society paper The Thermidor of the Progressives: Managerialist Liberalism’s Hostility to Decentralized Organization is excellent. I’ll incorporate some of the points he makes in the C4SS feature exploring the intersection of liberty and creativity that I’ve been planning to do for a while.

Thanks, Darian. I look forward to your commentaries.

BTW, congratulations on showing up on the radar where the national security state’s phony war on “terrorism” intersects with its real wars on the anti-globalization movement and free culture movement.

I’ll probably be commenting on Col. Hesterman’s treatment of “IP crime” and terrorism soon. So the marginal cost of replicating a Nintendo game is $0.02, and the “pirates” sell them for $40 for an enormous profit? Um, isn’t that exactly what Nintendo does? I also checked out her paper on international crime (drug trade, IP “theft,” etc.) as a revenue source for terrorism. She doesn’t know how right she is–the black market drug trade has been one of the U.S. terror state’s main sources of funds for the death squads and other terrorists it supports around the world.

Hey Darian, it looks like you also spot light as a representative of “anarchism’s capitalist far right” side by side with the LvMI: http://antigerman.wordpress.com/2010/06/20/on-nationalism-
