Reminds me of the time I saw Fox News (the nationwide cable station, not some local channel) breathlessly reporting about a vacant building on fire somewhere in Texas. They excitedly told us that there WAS a school across the street! So, you know, there was a tiny chance that maybe some kids might burn to death if things went really wrong and nobody bothered to evacuate them or anything, WHEEE! But not really.
That was some serious, important news that I needed to know about all the way over here in California.
