Coldsnap Legal reports that people are being detained for illegal durations, brutalized, and intimidated in jail. Jail staff are reportedly lying about medical attention being given.  It is also well known that independent journalists and street medics have been arrested and held.  In addition, unconfirmed reports of ICE agents intimidating detainees with foreign names are circulating.

A campaign has been organized to pressure the tyrants responsible.

Demands raised at todays spokescouncil are:

1. Immediate medical attention. [remember they are lying about providing this]

2. Arrestees to be allowed to meet in group(s) with lawyers.

3. Dismissal of all charges.

4. Release of minors.

5. Ensure trans folks have access to phones, attorneys, and are held in gender group of choice
